Planner and Core Hours

One of our biggest challenge as an on demand transport service is drivers and working patterns, ensuring we have enough drivers 24/7/365 is a mission we’ve passed on to technology, this enables us to focus on providing our customers with a better experience and drivers to understand and have insights to when we’re busy. In your app you will have a new menu listing called Your Planner, this is broken down into 3 parts

Upcoming Jobs

If you have any preassigned jobs this is where they can be viewed, all trips are listed in date order and you can tap to view more information about each trip.

Calendar

The calendar will show any private job or days off you’ve entered. This helps our team to understand where you maybe and if you’re available. Ideal for Hackneys and drivers who have private work to enter those trip details into the system, Mission Control will then partner drivers up with suitable jobs that they maybe able to do.

• Day off: We ask the driver start date and back to work date.

  Example Start Date: 01/05/2020 Back to work date: 05/05/2020 this means the drivers is taking a break from 01/05/2020 to 04/05/2020
  

• Private Trips: We ask the driver the pickup and destination. This gives our dispatch information it can use to suggest upcoming trips that the driver may do. We ask for the pickup time and drop off time we also use this to predict and suggest upcoming jobs for the drivers.

Calendar

All our drivers are self employed and work according to their own schedule, something they love about Cab My Ride, drivers have the freedom and flexibility about when they want to work.

However for organising and enabling the best customer experience we have now introduced Core Hours, tell us when you’re likely to work, the days, your start and finish times along with any breaks you have. Our system will now make intelligent decisions based on this information and assign trips accordingly and message drivers who are likely working during busy times but are not online.
